Club Library

We have recently re-catalogued the library. It is a particularly useful resource for students in training and others who are interested in Jungian ideas. With around 2,600 books, a large collection of journals, and a number of unpublished lecture notes and manuscripts, the library offers a wealth of information. The library also holds a collection of audio recordings that document some of the lectures held by the Club over the last 50 years.

The library is housed in a private home at 1, More's Garden, 90 Cheyne Walk, London SW3 5BB. It can be accessed by Club Members and subscribers by appointment. From September 20th, Amanda Francis, the librarian will be there on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 2pm. Please contact her to arrange a visit: librarian@jungclub-london.org. To arrange a visit when help is not required contact Frank Colcord / 07763 116793.

Annual library subscription for non-members is £15.

Books can be borrowed for free for up to two months. There is a £1.50 administration charge for posting books or photocopies, with postage extra. A charge of £1 is levied for every 5 pages copied as a PDF. All borrowers must write their name, address, email and phone number CLEARLY in the Library Lending Book (LLB) with the date.

Jung Club Archive

In 2002 and 2004 the C. G. Jung Club deposited numerous boxes of papers and documents dating from 1932 to 2003 with the Wellcome Collection. These are available on loan for scholars who might be interested in researching the history of the Club and especially the discussions about whether analysis should be conducted by medical doctors or lay analysts.

The papers are uncatalogued but there is a list of the contents of the boxes. The references are Acquisitions 1070 and 1256. Please apply to the Wellcome Collection if you are interested.
